Neills Hill Ballyhackamore

Neill’s Hill Brasserie is a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant that likes to think of itself as a local Ballyhackamore gem, and many of the locals would agree with this label.

The restaurant has a light, open feel to it during the day, but it becomes a quaint, romantic venue once the sun goes down. This duality allows the establishment to cater to business breakfasts as well as they do romantic evenings, so customers can expect it to get fairly busy throughout the week.

There are two menu options to choose from when visiting Neill’s Hill  – the lunch menu, and the evening and Sunday menu. These menus offer delights that cater to more casual tastes, such as burgers, as well as more inspired meals, such as chicken liver pate with hot brioche and red onion marmalade. The prices of the items on these menus range from £2.50 to £39.50, which means that it can cater to a wide variety of clientele.

While there might be many delights to choose from at Neill’s Hill Brasserie, the steak is one of the most popular options, and they come with the option of three toppings; pepper sauce, garlic butter and crumbled blue cheese. For those who enjoy their red meat, it is definitely worth a visit. The restaurant also has a great wine selection to choose from, allowing customers the chance to pair their meals with the perfect accompaniment.

Because of this, it is usually a good idea to call ahead when planning to visit this establishment. The restaurant is open from 10:00 am from Monday to Sunday, and at 09:30 on Saturdays.

It doesn’t matter whether customers are popping by for a quick cup of coffee or looking for a romantic evening for two, this establishment is catering to a wide demographic and is able to provide clientele with great food in a unique and interesting setting.

I was there with a group of friends on saturday night. The food was excellent! I had the burger and it was the best I've ever tasted. We all really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were really friendly but also kept their distance! Super night. We'll definately be back!!

Had dinner there with the wife last Sunday and we were very impressed! Lovely sharing starter plate of breads with dips and tapenades followed by the cumberland sausage, mash and onion gravy, which was superb. My wife had the burger and said it was lovely. I had a cheeseboard after and my better half went for a decadent rasperberry ruffle cheesecake. Staff were very friendly and efficient and the interior has a lovely laid back feel to it. It was also good value for money – £20 each including a drink each plus tea and coffee after. Excellent!!
