Acapulco Mexican Restaurant

Acapulo, Mexican restaurant, opened their doors for the first time at the weekend in Ballyhackamore.

Another great addition to the current restaurants and injecting a bit of ‘Mexican flavour’ to the good mix of eating establishments here in the village area.

A legacy to the original Acapulco which was previously in the Botanic area of Belfast many years ago, this is a welcome extension to what Ballyhackamore has to offer.

At the opening last week, superb authentic Mexican food in a warm welcoming setting. Patrica is a brilliant host, always smiling. I'll be back!

Is there a menu online anywhere or can anyone give an indication of price?

Been there 3 times already! Fabulous mexican food, best I've tasted, great service, currently BYO, which is fine. Always get a very warm cheery welcome from Patricia. I think I've found my favourite restaurant in Ballyhackamore. Will def be back for more. Thoroughly recommended.

I am baffled by all the good reviews as had an appalling time there tonight.
The time inbetween courses is ridiculous, over 25 minutes for us plus we had asked for the starter to be brought with the main course which didn't happen.
The food was bland and over priced. In no way was this authentic Mexican food as described above which was very disappointing.
It seemed like they were just trying to jump on the fad that seems to be happening for Mexican restaurants in Belfast at the moment and unfortunately I left thinking they had learnt about Mexican food from an old El Paso dinner kit.

Hi i was hoping to bring my toddler along with me on Friday night for dinner. unfortunately he is a terrible eater and will only eat sausages and chicken dippers style things.

can anyone please confirm if they have anything like this for children?

Had lunch with my wife and son a few weeks past, food was good and fresh and good value for money.Called in today at the takeaway at the side of the restaurant and ordered a burrito and a burrito bowl, service was very slow seemed to be a lot of confusion amongst the staff with it came to orders. As the takeaway operates from the same kitchen I was able to watch my burrito being made and then was horrified to watch it being put into a microwave oven……hardly authentic Mexican food, will stick to Boojum microwave free.,,

  17. Mexican says:

Had a lovely dinner last night. Food excellent and service very friendly. Can recommend frozen strawberry margaritas. Will definitely be back.

  18. Dekkard says:

Had a meal last night with the wife. Staff very friendly and chatty. Service was quick and the food was superb! Huge portions on the early menu & with 2 courses for £12 it's great value. The frozen margaritas are to die for! Try it – you won't regret it!
