Ballyhackamore is situated on the Upper Newtownards Road in east Belfast, ‘halfway’ between Belfast City centre and Dundonald Village. It is a thriving community of shops, restaurants and a variety of businesses’. It is nearby its sister community of the Belmont Road.
It’s fair to say that Ballyhackamore has overtaken most of the previous ‘happening places’ in Belfast (Lisburn Road, Stranmillis etc) to become THE place to visit for an unbelieveable variety of eating establisments, coupled with some great bars.
